The Bartholomew County Historical Society’s Open Door Tour of homes is slated for 10 to 5 p.m. June 16. The event features private homes, architecturally significant buildings — many of which are closed to the public — and gardens throughout downtown Columbus. The tour concludes with a tour of The Inn at Irwin Gardens, music, light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar on the grounds from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets: $20 in advance; $25 day of the event. Children 10 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available at the Historical Society, Viewpoint Books and the Columbus Visitors Center.
