Peggy Rose Wyatt, 61, of Columbus, died at her residence at 1:39 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
Peggy had, in earlier years, enjoyed working at the Bloomington Humane Society as an assistant manager.
She had a tremendous love for animals, especially dogs and horses.
She enjoyed collecting Irish music and Breyer and Stone horses.
She always had a special place with all the children in her family.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Barkes, Weaver, & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to the time of the celebration of life.
Burial will follow at Newbern Cemetery.

Peggy was born on March 10, 1957 in Columbus, the daughter of Robert L. and Betty Jane Akers Wyatt.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Jane Akers Wyatt of Greensburg; sisters, Betty (Charles) Bridwell and Laura (Tim) Vrana, both of Columbus, Kerry Spencer of Albert, and Cathy (Edward) Huckaby of Sandpoint, Idaho; brothers, Michael Wyatt of North Vernon and John (Debbie Ryan) Wyatt of Winterport, Maine; sister-in-law, Cindy Setser of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Nancy Willis; and a niece, Linda White.
