Brittany Cathleen Hooper, 25, of Scipio, passed away unexpectedly at 10:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018.
Brittany was born May 28, 1993, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Russell and Denise Fetter Hooper. She graduated from Jennings County High School in 2011. Brittany loved paranormal investigating. Researching, watching documentaries and reading about paranormal investigations was her favorite hobby. She even traveled to Waverly Hills in Louisville, Kentucky to experience a paranormal adventure.
Survivors include her parents, Russell and Denise; grandparents, Jerry (Rosalie) Hooper, and aunt, Melinda (Dave) Fisher, both of Columbus; uncle, Kevin Gossett of Michigan; cousins, Megan (Chris) Jenkins, Andrew (Karen) Gossett, both of Fishers, Abbey Fisher of Columbus; her cats, Davion, Tommy, Chance, Noreen, Mikey and her rabbit, Tatum.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John (Betty) Fetter and aunt, Cathee Gossett.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Rev. F. Doran Chambers officiating. Family and friends may call Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
