John Clerkin will join the staff of Administrative Resources Association as a grant and project manager effective July 2.
Clerkin has 25 years of service in the financial services industry and government. In his role with ARa, he will assist communities with management of federal grants and implementation of community development and housing programs.
Previously, Clerkin spent eight years at MainSource Bank as real estate valuation specialist and community reinvestment act officer. He completed internal evaluations and reviewed appraisals to determine business loan compliance with regulatory requirements.
Earlier in his career, Clerkin spent 10 years at Indiana Department of Local Government Finance. He also served the Indiana Office of Community & Rural Affairs for seven years as community development block grant accounting manager and financial and policy analyst field auditor/case manager.
Administrative Resources association is a governmental association of cities created in 1973 with Lilly Endowment funds.
