Columbus has much pride in its beautiful buildings, the many opportunities for education and employment, etc. It hosts people from many states and nations.
However, it has a blight put on it due to Cary Owsley’s death. The situation deserves clarity.
Those involved also deserve to be cleared if innocent, and not have a stigma over their names. Cary’s death has caused much stress and heartache.
Across the nation, we see on the national news officers in many cruel situations. Yet, most officers are above reproach. Many lives of the good officers have been taken by the cause of the rogue ones.
The Owsley and Jackson families, as well as the accused, deserve justice and clarification.
Bartholomew County certainly does not want visitors or residents to be afraid of law enforcement officers.
Columbus has wonderful folks. What value is education if not properly used?
“There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed.” (Luke 12:2)
