2008

A mobile emergency department called MED-1 from the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, was set up in the parking lot at Columbus Regional Hospital to provide emergency care to the community until the hospital was able to re-open.

1993

The clock tower at Bartholomew County Courthouse got a facelift for $10,700.

1968

The county clerk’s office at the courthouse was closed due to the noise of jackhammers being used in remodeling of the structure.
