The Hayden High School Alumni Association will hold its 78th annual homecoming at 1 p.m. today in the Hayden Historical Museum’s pavilion, 6715 W. County Road 20S in Jennings County.
An ice cream social will conclude the program. Persons who would like to bring a dessert to share may do so.
Anyone who ever attended the Hayden school may attend, but special recognition will be given to the members of the anniversary classes of 1948, 1953, 1958, and the students from the class of 1963 who would have graduated from Hayden High if the high school hadn’t been consolidated.
The program will consist of the alumni business and announcements, the introduction of Cody St. John, the 2018 Michael Euler Memorial Award winner, the induction of Ted Brunner and Ben and Mary Richman into the Hayden Hall of Fame, recognition of the members of the anniversary classes and the introduction of the former Hayden school teachers.
The museum buildings will be open throughout the afternoon as another attraction.
