Duncan ties for 41st in Quicken Loans National

Columbus native Tyler Duncan carded a final-round 72 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 41st place in the Quicken Loans National at TPC Potomac.

Duncan, who shot 69, 69 and 68 the first three rounds, finished at 2-under 278. He earned $24, 850.

Francesco Molinari won the tournament at 21-under 259. Ryan Armour took second at 13-under 267, followed by Sung Kang at 12-under 268 and Tiger Woods and Abraham Ancer at 11-under 269.

Informational meeting set for girls flag football league

There will be in informational meeting for the All-Girls Flag Football League at 6 p.m. July 15 at Central Middle School. Anyone interested in playing, coaching or officiating should attend.
