Tyler Duncan has moved into the top 10 in The Greenbrier Classic following a bogey-free, 6-under-par 64 in Friday’s second round.
The 2008 Columbus North graduate, carded a 1-under 33 on the front nine at The Old White TPC in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. He then eagled the par-5 No. 12 on his way to a 5-under 31 on the back nine.
Duncan, who shot 68 in Thursday’s opening round, is in a tie for eighth place at 8-under 132 at the midway point.
Kelly Kraft leads the tournament at 13-under 127. Anirban Lahiri and first-round leader Webb Simpson are one shot back at 12-under 128, followed by Jason Kokrak at 11-under 129, Whee Kim and Harold Varner III at 10-under 130 and Sam Saunders at 9-under 131.
Duncan is among eight players tied at 130.
Among other notables, Phil Mickelson is tied for 33rd at 5-under 135. John Daly missed the cut after a 4-over 144.
