Terry and Cheryl Parker of Columbus are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.
The couple went on a 17-day, 6,000-mile journey to several parks in western states including Colorado, Utah, Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota.
Mr. Parker and his wife, the former Cheryl Thompson were married June 17, 1978 at First Baptist Church on Fairlawn Drive in Columbus by the Rev. James C. Eckert.
He is employed at Parker Construction.

She is retired from NTN Driveshaft.
They are the parents of Nick Parker, Derek Parker and Chelsey Parker. They have one grandson.
