Susan L. Edwards, 70, passed away on July 10, 2018.
She was born on February 26, 1948 in Indianapolis to the late Albert Scott and Corene Elizabeth (Payne) Keller.
Susie was a graduate of Shortridge High School and had a love for music; she could play a wide assortment of instruments — from the piano and guitar, to the violin.
She sang with the Columbus Philharmonic Orchestra and was a member of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church in Nashville.
Susie was a devoted vegetarian, runner and cyclist.
She was also widely considered the original template for the energizer bunny: she could get more done in a day than anyone, and was fiercely devoted to her family.
Survivors include her loving husband, Stephen E. Edwards; children, Kevin MacPherson and Candace MacPherson; siblings, Jerri (Dale) Robbins, Joyce (Mark) McDonald and Jenny Jackson; and grandchildren, Matthew MacPherson and Hayden Newcomer.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 in the Joy of All Who Sorrow Orthodox Christian Church, Indianapolis. Burial will be at Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Cemetery in Crawfordsville.
