For nine days each summer, the Bartholomew County 4-H Fair becomes a leading destination for:
- 4-H exhibitors showing their chickens, ponies or pigs.
- Friends and families lending their support.
- Kids attracted to the food, lights, sounds and occasional screams of the midway.
- Fans of all ages caught up in the excitement of Grandstand shows … and almost any other reason you can imagine.
Each year, up to 100,000 people — more than the entire population of Bartholomew County — head to the fairgrounds. The 61st annual county fair wraps up today at the county fairgrounds, County Road 200S, south of Garden City.
