Rachel Sabotin won the 400 individual medley Friday night at the Senior State Championship and earned her first Junior National cut in a pool event.
Sabotin, a Columbus resident, will be a junior at Trinity Lutheran. She is swimming for Club Olympia.
Last year, Sabotin finished seventh in the Junior Nationals Open Water 5K.
