Ride, glide in dark: Moonlight Loop seeks entrants, volunteers (copy)

Riders can still register for tonight’s 2018 Moonlight Loop, a 19-mile fundraising bike ride beginning at 9 p.m. that will wind through Columbus city streets, passing several architectural gems along the way. Columbus Police Department officers will guide cyclists along the route.

On-site registration will be available at the Library Plaza for $35 per person beginning at 6:30 p.m. today.

The fifth annual event raises money for Columbus Animal Care Services, 2730 Arnold Drive, which is running at full capacity. The event has netted more than $46,000 since it began, with last year’s event generating $12,658.
