Jim and Shirley Eversole of Columbus are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple recently took a trip to Mackinac Island, Michigan, to celebrate.
Mr. Eversole and his wife, the former Shirley Stutsman, were married Aug. 10, 1968 Bethany Baptist Church near Deputy by the Rev. Joe Hodge.
He is employed at Product Engineering Company (PECO).
She is a homemaker and a former Cummins Engine Co. employee.

They are the parents of Sara Canzoneri of Nashville, Indiana and Ryan Eversole of Franklin. They have two grandchildren.
