Reba D. Gray, 93, of Columbus, passed away at 11:14 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
Reba was born February 18, 1925, in Brown County, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth McKain Nickerson.
On February 3, 1945, she married William Fiesbeck. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1997.
Reba later married Paul Gray, a decorated veteran of World War II. He also precedes her in death.
Mrs. Gray was a longtime member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and loved sewing. She also enjoyed cooking and playing board games.
Survivors include her son, Ronnie Lee (Cheryl) Fiesbeck of Hope, daughter, Brenda (Tracy) Fiesbeck Allred of Middletown; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Hagerty of Columbus; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Juanita Spears, Bernice Nickerson, brothers, Cecil Nickerson, Robert Nickerson; daughter, Beverly Barriger; and brother-in-law, Bill Hagerty.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Travis Stamper officiating. Family and friends may call Monday 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Tuesday 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
