Pre-registration is open for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, set for Sept. 30 at Mill Race Center. On-site registration the day of the walk will begin at noon.
Sponsored by Eli Lilly and Trilogy Health Services, the local walk has received support from Keepsake Village of Columbus, Columbus Transitional Care and Willow Crossing, Columbus Regional Health, American Senior Communities and Four Seasons Retirement Center.
Along the route, participants will learn about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, volunteer opportunities, public policy initiatives and programming and services provided by the Alzhemer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter.
In 2017, the walk in Columbus raised more than $95,000 for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This year’s goal is $98,500.
