Charles and Jennifer Tape of North Vernon are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple celebrated early with a family cookout with their son and his family.
Mr. Tape and the former Jennifer Reynolds were married Sept. 14, 1968 in Jackson County, Tennessee.
He is retired from Cummins Engine Co.
She is retired from Schneck.
They have two children, Brian (Michelle) of Fall River, Massachusetts and the late Julie Tape; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
