Columbus Christian scored first Monday, but had to settle for a 1-1 tie with Suburban Christian.

C.J. Reed scored off an assist from Nathan Defriece for the Crusaders (2-5-1), who outshot Suburban Christian 16-12. Conner Emily recorded 11 saves.

Wildcats edge Jets

BROOKVILLE — Sam Johnson netted a pair of goals, but Hauser fell 3-2 at Franklin County.

Carlos Cuevos had an assist for the Jets (7-6). Kameron Lawson posted 12 saves.

Panthers blank Warriors

NORTH VERNON — Jennings County struck early in a 1-0 win against Scottsburg.

Andrea Reitman scored off an assist from Naomi Beal in the second minute for the Panthers (9-5), who outshot the Warriors 12-2. Tori Lee recorded two saves.

South Decatur wins

OSGOOD — South Decatur bounced back from a third-set setback to finish off a 25-21, 22-25, 25-14, 25-22 win at Jac-Cen-Del.

Lana Bell led the Cougars (6-12) with 15 kills and six aces. Hannah Ballard recorded 15 assists, Sam Goodfellow had one block and Karah Bidddinger notched 17 digs.

Goodfellow also pounded 12 kills, and Bell added 11 digs. Whitnye Burton contributed 11 assists.

Lancers fall to Mohawks

WALDRON — Edinburgh came closer in the final set, but dropped a 25-14, 25-14, 25-19 decision at Waldron.

The Lancers fell to 1-24 overall and 0-5 in the Mid-Hoosier Conference.

Hawks sweep Tornados

INDIANAPOLIS — After two close sets, the Columbus Hawks had an easier third set in a 28-26, 26-24, 25-18 win against the Tippecanoe Tornados.

Grace Lorimor led the Hawks (3-5) with four kills, nine assists and eight aces. McKiah Shearer pounded four kills and a block, Elisabeth White had a block and Ava Farnsley notched four digs.

Elisabeth White and Farnsley each pounded three kills. Sarah Lorimor added six assists and four aces, and White tallied three digs.
