The Fourth Annual Jennings County Public Library Mystery Dinner Theater is 6 p.m. Nov. 2.
The mystery play is performed by local actors and actresses. This year’s cast includes Jennifer Ertel, Mike Kelly, Collin Willis, Jeremiah Hendren, Melessa Wieschan, Joe Wyatt, Marvin Sweet, Lois Keller and Shawn Scott.
The first person to solve the mystery wins $200.
The event also includes a social hour with hors d’oeuvres, a buffet dinner catered by The Pines Restaurant, a silent auction and a cash bar.
More than 100 tickets have already been sold for the play, which is acted like an old-time live radio broadcast, library director Mary Hoagland said.
"Until you experience it, you can’t understand it," Hoagland said."It just turns into a whole bunch of fun. Even the actors don’t know how it will end.
Tickets are $40 per person and $70 for two. The deadline to purchase tickets is Oct. 29.
