John and Sue Rhoades of Columbus are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. A family celebration was held on July 28 with a dinner and family get-together.
The couple was married Oct. 25, 1978 at Asbury United Methodist Church by Dr. Jack P. Miller.
Both are retired from Bartholomew Consolidated schools.
They have three children, Mark (Laurel) Smith, Jason (Jessica) Rhoades and Julie (Luke) Sagur; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
