People have two more days to submit nominations for the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. Education Hall of Fame.
The district will accept nominations until Thursday for the award, which recognizes a teacher, former teacher or administrator for outstanding service and extraordinary contributions to the school corporation. Nominees must, at the time of employment, be a licensed teacher or administrator and have worked for BCSC for a minimum of 15 years.
Nomination forms are available by visiting the BCSC website, bcsc.k12.in.us, or by calling the superintendent’s office at 812-376-4220. Individuals may also e-mail surfacej@bcsc.k12.in.us.
Nominations will be accepted at the superintendent’s office at the BCSC administration building, 1200 Central Ave., Columbus. The winner is chosen by a committee of five. Recipients will receive a commemorative plaque; a second plaque is placed in a school location of the recipient’s choice.
