Group awards funding to Ivy Tech campus
Ivy Tech Foundation’s Women in Philanthropy has awarded funding to Ivy Tech Community College’s Columbus campus through an initiative that focuses on campus needs and projects that impact students.
The organization recently hosted its third annual Circle of Ivy luncheon, raising funds to diminish barriers to higher education for Ivy Tech Community College students.
This year’s Circle of Ivy event awarded $130,000 to 51 projects with each Ivy Tech campus voting on submitted proposals.
Ivy Tech’s Columbus campus received funding for the following projects: Writing Across the Curriculum, University Library of Columbus Comicon Event, New Student First Aid Kits and Pass the Torch Women in STEM.
