Cardiologist inducted into medical society

Franciscan Health cardiologist Dr. Ryan P. Daly was been inducted as a Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.

The designation is awarded to members who contribute to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases through research, education and patient care.

He is one of 230 cardiologists and radiologists worldwide to have earned this designation and is the first in the state of Indiana.

Daly is the medical director of Cardiovascular MRI and CT at Franciscan Health Indianapolis, and is a member of Franciscan Physician Network Indiana Heart Physicians, who serve patients in Columbus and throughout central Indiana.

He is board-certified in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular CT.

Before joining IHP in 2010, he completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He obtained advanced fellowship training in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging from Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Daly earned his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine, where he completed his internal medicine internship and residency training.
