Car flips near Subway on 25th Street

Columbus police and firefighters are investigating a two-vehicle accident in which one vehicle flipped on 25th Street.

The accident was reported at 11:20 a.m. Friday. Police said there were only minor injuries in the accident.

Police at the scene said the two people in a BMW which flipped and the driver of the SUVĀ  all got out of their vehicles and no one needed to go to the hospital.

Only one lane of traffic on Home Avenue was closed next to the Subway sandwich shop during the investigation.

Numerous Columbus North High School students were in the Subway when the accident happened and watched the accident cleanup during their lunch hour.
