The Central Middle School seventh-grade boys basketball team won a pair of games last week, beating Northside 42-32 on Tuesday and Edinburgh 60-22 on Wednesday.
Conner Hensley led the Chargers with 21 points against Northside, while Evan Huckaby added eight. Blake Osbourne led the Spartans with 10, while Dillon James had seven.
Hensley led Central with 10 points against Edinburgh. Ben Eikenbary and Blake Barkhardt each added eight.
Panther 8th wins pair
The Jennings County eight-grade boys White team improved to 8-0 with a pair of wins last week.
The Panthers beat South Decatur 55-13 on Monday. Owen Law led Jennings with 18 points.
On Thursday, the Panthers beat St. Bartholomew 41-21. Lane Zohrlaut and Darius Thomas each scored 10 points for Jennings.
The Panther eighth-grade boys Blue team beat Northside 42-32 on Wednesday. Skylar Lewis led Jennings (3-3) with 18 points.
The Panthers’ seventh-grade White team downed South Decatur 44-18. Will Barnes and Andrew McKeand each scored eight points for Jennings.
St. Peter’s tops Jennings
The Jennings eighth-grade girls Blue team fell to St. Peter’s 45-15 on Tuesday.
Lena Ritchie led the Panthers with eight points.
