Hauser FFA member receives $1,000 grant
A Hauser Jr.-Sr. High School FFA member has received a grant from the National FFA organization.
Elijah Heslop, a junior from Hartsville, received a $1,000 Agricultural Experience Tracker SAE grant, which is designed to help FFA members create and enhance their supervised agriculture experience that is required by all members to complete.
An SAE requires FFA members to create and operate an agriculture related business, work at an agricultural-related business or conduct an agricultural research experience. Upon completion, FFA members must submit a comprehensive report regarding their career development experience, according to a news release.
