• Chelsey, a waitress at Chili’s, for outstanding service, from the two couples on Sunday afternoon.

• states with more undocumented immigrants that have lower crime rates than states with fewer of them.

• the pharmacy technician and the pharmacist at Walmart west on Sunday for helping to find a prescription drug discount card to apply toward my exorbitantly expensive medication.

• Austin at Bob Poynter for being so helpful and kind on Friday, from a happy customer in a Ford Escape.

• the ladies in Jefferson Park who helped find my dog last week when she ran away.

• the Columbus police who helped rescue a grandma who dropped her keys down a storm drain on Sunday.

• Dr. Olsen for his time and attention during the walk-in clinic at Columbus Foot and Ankle.

• President Trump for his efforts of trying to protect our borders.

Onions to …

• the city for neglecting the potted plant material at their newly acquired FairOaks mall.

• young mean people who have no respect for the elderly and have no common sense.

• those who think climate change is a settled matter.

• to all the noisy train horns late and early in the morning.

• the City of Columbus for not thinking about the train system and traffic before the riverfront and gym.

• our new state representative who includes a vague educational savings plan question on his survey.

• owners of vans parked the wrong way in parking lots, because they’re going to cause a bad wreck because you can’t see around them to pull out.

• the newly elected state official for saying he’s a conservative but wants to increase spending for many things.

• whoever uses the derogatory term “old people.”

• negative people who cannot express opposing opinions without making unwarranted personal attacks and stating false information.
