Veterans program offers breakfast

NORTH VERNON — North Vernon Vet-to-Vet, a new peer support program for military veterans, will offer a breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. the second Saturday of each month at the Education and Training Center, 1200 W. O&M Ave. in North Vernon.

The first breakfast is this Saturday and it is open to the public.

A meal costs $5, and attendees can choose from three meal combinations:

  • Three pancakes, two sausage links or two pieces of bacon, hashbrowns or scrambled eggs, drink
  • Half-order of biscuits and gravy, two sausage links or two pieces of bacon, hashbrowns or scrambled eggs, drink
  • Full order of biscuits and gravy, drink

A free-will donation jar will be offered for anyone wishing to donate to the event.
