Lancers edge Cougars

EDINBURGH — South Decatur led Edinburgh by two points entering the fourth quarter, but the Lancers rallied for a 61-57 Mid-Hoosier Conference win.

Annelise Lollar scored 16 points to lead four Lancers in double figures. Destiney Ramey added 14, while Haven Link had 12 and Sidney Beier chipped in 10.

Lana Bell led the Cougars (5-15, 0-6) with 21 points. Sierra Lang scored 16, and Madison Owens added 13 points and 12 rebounds

South Decatur committed 23 turnovers to just 10 for Edinburgh (8-11, 1-1).

Panthers fall to Stars

BEDFORD — Bedford North Lawrence jumped out to an 18-9 lead after one quarter and went on to hand Jennings County a 75-56 Hoosier Hills Conference loss.

Aaron Martin led the Panthers (6-8, 1-2) with 17 points, five rebounds and two steals. Josh Pettit added 15 points and five rebounds.

Brownstown tops Trinity

BROWNSTOWN — Class 3A No. 10 Brownstown Central was too much for Trinity Lutheran in a 68-37 victory.

Trent Shoemaker led the Cougars (4-12) with 12 points. Tyler Goecker added 11.
