LEESBURG, FLORIDA
Robert Loyd Hehe, 77, of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Freetown, passed away at 1:36 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at his home.
Robert was born June 17, 1941, in Dearborn County, IN., the son of Gilbert and Ruth Aufderheide Hehe. On December 23, 1988, he married Cathy A. Pfeiffer.
Mr. Hehe retired from Cosco in 2004 after 39 years of service. He was initiated in July 26, 1990 to the Jonesville Masonic Lodge and a current member of the Jackson Lodge 146 in Seymour. Bob was also a member of the Freetown Church of Christ for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseback riding. Motorcycle riding and spoiling his grandchildren were also among his favorite things to do.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Cathy; children, Tina (Dean) Henry of Vevay, IN., Danny (Ruthann) Hehe of Thornhill, TN., Lisa Johnson of Lawrenceburg, IN., Darren Coddington, Lori (Eric) Funk, both of Katy, TX.; 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley ( Frank) Adams of Cincinnati, OH., Mary Lou Furnish of Vevay, IN., Betty Jo Pavey of Tell City, IN., Debbie Hehe, also of Vevay, IN.; brother, Joe ( Linda) Hehe of Vevay, IN.; step-mother-in-law, Janet Pfeiffer of Leesburg, FL.; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Theodore Pfeiffer and mother-in-law, Arline Pfeiffer.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Freetown Church of Christ with Barry DeWitt officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike and Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at church. A masonic service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Freetown Cemetery.
