• the man driving the little Ranger with the snow blade on the front that cleared all the roads in Bethel Village on Sunday.

• my thoughtful neighbors on North Marr Road for cleaning the snow off my driveway, because it was appreciated.

• the person who bought my lunch at Steak ‘N Shake on Monday.

• people in Indiana who think they know anything about what really happens at the southern border.

• those in the mainstream news media and on social media who once again have jumped to conclusions and twisted the truth regarding the Covington Catholic High School students.

• the Republican Senate majority leader for his refusal to call a vote and reopen portions of the federal government affected by the shutdown.

• those who don’t realize for the past two years the wall was not an issue when Republicans were in control.

• the vice president for his comparison of Martin Luther King’s pursuit of racial and social justice with Donald Trump’s promise to build the wall.

• the county for not utilizing the Everbridge system to announce the travel restrictions Sunday.

• whoever was walking their dog in my front yard, because they should walk it in their own yard.

• the shelter that lets people spend the night, but requires them to leave by 10 a.m. the next day, because it’s extremely cold to be walking the streets.

• elected officials and media outlets that try to make the country to appear chaotic by ignoring President Trump’s achievements.
