COLUMBUS
Greg Thomas Penrose, 34, of Columbus, passed away February 1, 2019 at his home.
Greg was born April 5, 1984 in Columbus, the son of Rick and Joyce Markwell Penrose. He married Amber Behymer on August 31, 2014.
Greg enjoyed music, and loved the outdoors, often going on hikes to be out and appreciate all of nature’s beauty. Most of all, Greg loved his family. He enjoyed teaching his children about history and taking them for rides on the “nun-nuns” (4 wheelers). He will be missed by his family and all that knew him.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday February 6, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at St. John’s Masonic Lodge (4131 Rocky Ford Rd.).
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice of charities.
Survivors include his wife; children Kloie, Kaleb, AlecZandyr, and Xavier Penrose, as well as Ashton and Ava Bales; his second mother Toni Brown of Columbus; sisters Tosha Markwell of Hope and Kacey Penrose of Columbus; a brother Todd Penrose of Columbus; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews; along with his beloved hound dog Ozzy.
He was preceded in death by his father Rick Penrose and his mother Joyce Markwell.
