Amazing Grace Gospel — A new church in Columbus. Worship services are at 10:30 a.m., with an evening mass at 6:30 p.m, led by Pastor Tom Deane.
Bible study is every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and there is an open mic night every Friday at 6:30 p.m. Bring songs and instruments and praise the lord.
The church is located at 2611 Central Ave., Suite 2, Columbus, adjacent to Amazing Joe’s restaurant and next to the All State Insurance Building.

Bible Church of Columbus — In the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, the focus of the sermon will be about how God created and values each life. Learn how God views life and how the congregation should respond to his view.
At 6 p.m. there will be a “Showing Our Live,” dinner program which will continue the focus of the day on the sacredness of life.
Childcare for nursery to preschool is 10 a.m. Sunday.
Children’s ministry for kindergarten through Grade 6 is from 9:45 to 11:10 a.m.
Teen ministry for Grades 7 to 12 is from 5 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Adult Life Groups are at 8:30 a.m., 5 p.m., and 5:30 p.m., during the weekdays.

Dayspring Church Apostolic — Worship begins at 11:15 a.m. at the church, 2127 Doctors Park Drive, Columbus. On Sunday, the church will be inspired by, “They Wouldn’t Die For A Lie.” This is taken from James 1:1, where James has made an about-face and is now a servant of his brother Jesus claiming him to be more than a prophet. Every visitor receives a free gift.
Sunday Education Session starts at 10 a.m. and covers Delegated Authority, as shared in Matthew 10:1-15.{/div}Bible Study is Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and takes a deep dive on the message from the previous Sunday.
Our Prayer of Power starts at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and is preceded with requests and instructions on prayer.
The Celebrate Recovery session starts at 6:30 p.m. for about an hour.
Ignite is the Youth Growth Session that happens every third Friday.

First Presbyterian — Worship begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the church, 512 Seventh St., Columbus. Reflecting on the stories of Jesus feeding over 5,000 people and Jesus walking on water, the Sunday sermon will be “Jesus believes in us,” and will consider how Jesus empowers the church to follow his lead. Matthew 14:13-33 will be the text.
Infant and toddler care is available from 9:15 a.m. to noon Sunday.
The men’s and women’s support groups meet at 7 a.m. Fridays, and a second men’s support group of working-age men meets every Monday at 6:15 a.m.
People in need of a meal are invited to Hot Meals, offered 5 p.m. Friday, with entry through the glass doors on Franklin Street.
The church is LGBTQ-friendly, open and affirming to all.

First United Methodist — On Sunday at the 9 a.m. Traditional Service and the 11 a.m. Celebration Service, Rev. Howard Boles will deliver the message “Those People,” at the church, 618 Eighth St., Columbus. The scripture will be Genesis 45:3-11 and Luke 6:27-38. Sunday school for all ages begins at 10:10 a.m. Child care is available during both services.
At 5 p.m. March 2, FUMC will host “Empower You,” an event for middle and high school girls to find their true potential. Cost is $10; register by Feb. 26.

Garden City Church of Christ — At the 10 a.m. worship on Sunday, the title for the sermon is, “Faith at Home: Building Strong Families at Garden City Church of Christ,” and will be presented by Pastor Brian Gilroy.
Through March 31, there will be a series that will emphasize the calling to pass down our faith in homes and to the next generation. The series will cover every area of home life with messages to married couples, singles, men, women and young people.
Prayer Emphasis Week begins on March 24, so there will be a special speaker from Harvest Prayer Ministries speaking on that Sunday.

Grace Lutheran — At the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services Rev. John Armstrong will be will bringing the message “Unnatural acts: the radical nature of grace in everyday life,” based on the blessings and woes of Luke 6:27-38. Children’s Sunday School is at 9:20 a.m.
Missionaries Freeman and Sue Rolfing will be speaking about their work in the Czech Republic between the services at 9:30 a.m.
“The Alpha Course: an intro to Christian ideas” continues 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with the topic “How can I resist evil?” All welcome. Contact the church if child care is needed.
“Searching the Scriptures” continues 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with a detailed look at the Apostles’ Creed. All welcome. Contact the church if child care is needed.
Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University will be held at Grace on Sundays from 3 to 5 p.m. Contact the office for registration information.
International Friendship Center at Grace gathering 9:30 to 11 a.m. Feb. 23 for a full Japanese cooking experience, “Japanese Cuisine: Experience it from start to finish!”
The Grace English Conversation Group will meet March 1 at the International Friendship Center from 9 to 11 a.m. with the topic “Discover Indiana.”

Old Union United Church of Christ — Join at 10 a.m. on Sunday for the seventh Sunday after Epiphany. Sunday school is at 9 a.m., followed by Fellowship at 9:40 a.m. Pastor Kirby Rupp will deliver the message, “Seeds of Happiness,” with readings from Genesis 45:3-11, 15; 1 Corinthians 15:35-38, 42-50; and Luke 6:27-38.
Wednesday Bible Study resumes at 6 p.m.
At 6:30 p.m. on March 6, the Ash Wednesday Service takes place.

Petersville United Methodist — At the 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday, the Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry will deliver the message, “Resting,” based on scripture from Exodus 20:8-11, and that in the story of creation, God rested, at the church, 2781 N. County Road 500E, Columbus. The choir will provide special music and Teresa Covert will give the children’s sermon. A time of fellowship follows the worship service and at 10:30 a.m. the study, “Shaped By God’s Heart” will be in the Fellowship Hall.
The Baker’s Dozen study group will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the home of Larry and Connie Nolting; the Journey study class also meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Chris Kimerling’s home. New members are always welcome to both classes.
The Sit and Stitch group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, also at the Nolting home. Choir practice is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church, and the Prayer group will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
The United Methodist Women, led by Kathy Bush, President, will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the church with Deb Loper as hostess.

Unitarian Universalist — At 10 a.m. on Sunday, the service message, “The Beginning of the Ends,” will be given by the Rev. Nic Cable, and the church will explore the power of keeping eyes on the horizon, to that place which the church longs to travel to as a congregation. As the journey unfolds, perhaps one will discover a new truth and new knowledge that was with them the whole time.

Westside Community — At 10 a.m. Sunday Pastor Robert Vester will lead the service at the church, at State Road 46 West and Tipton Lakes Boulevard, Columbus.
The children’s program for birth through sixth grade meets at the same time as the 10 a.m. worship service.
Westside will have a Night of Prayer from 6 to 9 p.m. on March 1, for World Day of Prayer. The evening will include a variety of themes and methods of prayer. This is a unique opportunity to grow your prayer life and your faith.

Events
Petersville United Methodist — From 5 to 7 p.m. on March 5, there will be a Fat Tuesday Supper at the church. The meal is $7 and the money will go to support Pastor Stormy’s trip to Uganda in July. The menu will consist of Bush’s sausage gravy, biscuits, pancakes, scrambled eggs, fruit and desserts.
South Central Indiana Christian Men’s Fellowship — The South Central Indiana Christian Men’s Fellowship will be Tuesday at the Jonesville Christian Church, 609 S. Commerce Drive, Jonesville. The Rev. Roy Hendershot from Walker Chapel Wesleyan Church will be the speaker. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting begins at 7:15. The menu is fried chicken and the trimmings. Information: 812-526-2071.
