Purdue Extension offers sewing camp

Sewing Camp for students in third through sixth grade is planned March 5 through 7 at Columbus East High School, sponsored by Purdue Extension — Bartholomew County.

Hours for the camp are 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the three days. Cost is $7 for current 4-H members and $20 for those not enrolled in 4-H. Participants will also need to purchase fabric, pins and thread for the bag or backpack they will sew.

Extension Homemakers members assist in the instruction at the camp. To participate, make a reservation by Friday (space is limited) by calling 812-379-1665. Adults are welcome to stay with their child during the camp.
