Elizabeth “Betsy” Kieffer and Lowell “Gene” Engelking III were married Sept. 19 in Vicenza, Italy at the home of the bride’s uncle, Dr. John Kieffer. Following the ceremony, the families celebrated with a dinner. A local reception with friends and family took place Oct. 6 at the Inn at Irwin Gardens in Columbus.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Julie Kieffer of Brownstown, formerly of Columbus. She is employed at Cummins.
The groom is the son of Jim and Jayne Frakes and the late Lowell Engelking II of Columbus. He is employed at Cummins.
Attending the wedding in Italy were Tom and Julie Kieffer, Thomas Kieffer, Jim and Jayne Frakes, John Kieffer and Stephen Luy and Laura Miller.
The couple resides in Columbus.
