Marketplace: Koch receives small business award from national federation

State Sen. Eric Koch (R-Bedford) received the Guardian of Small Business Award from the National Federation of Independent Business at the Statehouse.

Koch was named a Guardian of Small Business for his support of Indiana’s small-business community, according to a statement from the NFIB in Indiana. The federation is a small business association.

The Guardian of Small Business Award is given to lawmakers who demonstrate leadership in supporting small businesses in government. On the issues identified by NFIB members as most important, Koch’s support was pivotal in ensuring small businesses and the issues that affect them are a priority.
