• the letter writer who doesn’t understand the tenants of the church, which is to obey God’s laws, not break them to suit man’s sinful desires.

• those who cannot accept that all people don’t believe in the Bible — different beliefs, different gods.

• whoever decided to rearrange the darkness with daylight saving time.

• those who complain about daylight saving time every six months.

• Hoosiers with beams in their own eye who revel in pointing out motes in their brother’s eye.

• neighbors who seek to justify separatist habits by taking refuge in obscure clauses of an antebellum constitution.

• those who feed their enlightened self-perception by ignoring penalties under existing laws that already distinguish among motives (e.g. murder, manslaughter, self-defense).

• those that can’t comprehend equal protection under the law and want certain classes to be just a bit more equal than the rest.

• politicians who don’t support ethical elections.

• the karaoke guys Friday night at the bar for treating me rudely and playing a bad joke on me which hurt my feelings.

• the vice president for saying he is a Christian yet overwhelmingly supporting the president.

• the state of the city’s water which, given the cost of our utility bills, should taste like mountain spring water.

• those who don’t agree that the president should try reading the Bible rather than just signing them.

• people who mistreat dogs and animals.
