Letter: Important to be people of conscience

In the interest of full understanding of the word “progressive,” the origin is from the post-Civil War industrial era. It was a veiled name for the USA Marxist socialist idolaters. It was veiled at least until lately with what we’ve seen from early Democrat presidential candidates who disclosed with teeth bared and froth.

U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris’ Medicare monopoly for all, the mean green “new” deal and, even more heinous, they give license to kill those burdensome undocumented: infants. The first two are sugar-coated power grabs for surrender of control over life’s health and capital freedom. The last was the heinous law that New York State passed and Virginia proposed: full-term abortion. Just claim any family “health” issue (family or emotional burden).

Of course, politics lately has many dark conscience warriors, their dominate media groupies and gangster Republican leaders. Gangsters look to conserve turf so they behave unconscionably for fear of negative attacks from the groupies. They share a place with the devil because they roll on every promise to their base to do justice, to beat back the malice of teeth-bared evil political movements. So where’s Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb, calling to cancel any government travel to the state of New York. Or our Republican representatives and senators, any rebuke? All it takes is a modicum of pointing evil out. Take the full-term abortion, infanticide, Philly butcher Dr. Kermit Gosnell. If in New York now having done what he did, he would go free.

If the issue at our southern border were put in context with such an abortion stance, we’d assign a family to take them in before they cross over, allowing a decision to use weapons to dismember or poison these undocumented citizens near the border. And if they managed to cross anyway, we’d ask should that person be left alone to die anyway? In either case if one said one cared about people behind either border, a murderous depraved action by persons, supporters, or governments to end their life should be off the table, for both cases.

The people from countries just south of Mexico make their decisions to risk criminal gangs benefiting from support groups who coach them on weak U.S. national law to make a persecution claim. Those conceived and in uterus had no choice in that life journey, and contain a foundational hope for goodness of nurturing life.

By recent similes made by progressives about Nazis, they should know that Nazis acted on their law. We, and others of conscience, punished them for the torture and murder of innocent people in spite of their law of man. Laws of men can be corrupt and against the divine law, or the natural law that people of conscience know.

I pray that this small callout stirs the God-given intellect of people who have avoided objective truth in their mind, heart and soul to be people of conscience and do real justice. Call on and call out the government Republicans.
