Muscatatuck to have session on pollinators

SEYMOUR — Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge will have a session on pollinators Saturday at the refuge, 12985 U.S. 50 East.

The day will start with an “Earth Day” Volunteer Work Day from 9 a.m. to noon in which volunteers of all ages are invited to help clean up the refuge.

From 1 to 4 p.m., there will be activities and demonstrations on pollinators, native plants and how you can help native pollinators.

At 2 p.m., a program called “The Birds, The Bees and the Beetles” will be presented for children.

Free starts of native plants and seeds will be given away, while supplies last.
