The St. Bartholmew boys and girls golfers swept a tri match between Columbus schools Tuesday at Par 3 Golf Course.
The Irish boys won with a 127 to 169 for Central and 185 for Northside (with four scores counting for each team. The St. B girls prevailed with an 85 to 99 for both the Chargers and Spartans (with two scores counting for each team).
Willy Davis won boys medalist honors with a 3-over-par 30 to lead the Irish. Joun Ferguson added a 31, Spencer Erfmeier and Jack Schiavello each shot 33 and John Merritt had a 34 for St. Bartholomew.
Jacob Bowman led Central with a 33. Pierce Arnholt led Northside with a 35.

The Irish’s Beatriz Santana carded a 37 to win girls medalist honors. Natalie Cross and Carter Gant each shot 49 to lead Northside and Central, respectively.
St. Bartholomew was coming off a 230-273 win against Jennings County at St. Anne’s on Monday. Schiavello won medalist honors with a 40, while Davis carded a 41, Erfmeier added a 47, Merritt shot 48 and Ossian Guest had a 54.

Batesville edges Panthers
Jennings County Middle School opened its season Monday with a 53 1/2 to 51 1/2 loss to Batesville.
Individual winners for the Panthers were Will Barnes in the high jump (4 feet, 8 inches), Sam Burkman in the shot put (35-2), Levi Marsh in the 110-meter hurdles (17.1 seconds), Kraedyn Young in the 1,600 (5:31) and Sam Fewell in the 800 (2:26).
Jennings also swept the 4×800 (10:19), 4×100 and 4×400 (4:33) relays.

HPW hosts ‘Aggression’
Hoosier Pro Wrestling hosted "Aggression" last weekend at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Alice Crowley beat Richard Sharkey by disqualification. Lightning Bolt, with Miss Courtney, pinned Ace Jackson.
In the HPW Cruiserweight Title Match, Guy Lombardo pinned Scarecrow to become the New Champ. Drax O’Brien pinned Korvis
In the HPW Tag Team Title Match, Buck Sexton and Dynamite Dillen beat Fireball and Tank, with Damien Sant, to keep the HPW Tag Belts.
In the HPW Tri State Title Match, Omega De pinned Duke the Nuke to win the belt. In the HPW Heavyweight Championship Title Match, Flash Flanagan beat Tim Lutz to win the belt.
HPW Returns to the fairgrounds on May 4.
