Here is one time in life when you can put all your eggs in one basket.
That’s because two big Easter egg hunts are set for Saturday.
The free 60th Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt for youngsters through age 8 is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday near the Donner Park Shelterhouse near 19th and Lafayette streets. Youngsters must bring their own baskets, and organizers always emphasize that the hunt begins on time.
Therefore, they encourage those attending to allow ample time for parking and walking to the site. The Columbus Parks and Recreation Department works with WCSI Radio on the event.
For local students in grades seven to 12, a free glow-in-the dark hunt is set for 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Mill Race Park, 50 Carl Miske Drive.
Organizers say there will be games, prizes, and some 2,500 eggs. Glow-in-the-dark hula hooping will be at 8:30 p.m. The egg hunt starts at dusk. Rain location is the Donner Park Shelterhouse.
