Luke Inman of North Vernon was the top local finisher in Monday’s Boston Marathon, finishing the 26.2-mile race in 1,513th in 2 hours, 53 minutes, 49 seconds.
Five Columbus residents also competed and finished on Monday. Matthew Greer took 2,492nd in 2:59:22, Tyler Stilwell was 2,675th in 3:00:20 and Joe Bell finished 10,486th in 3:34:51.
Nina Bouthier, a junior at Purdue, took 3,038th among women in 3:36:11. Leslie Weaver was 8,063rd among women in 4:15:56.
