About 250 people from a mix of area churches and denominations attended the Ecumenical Assembly of Bartholomew County Churches’ annual nondenominational Good Friday program at The Commons.
The service included readers highlighting 14 Stations of the Cross highlighting the Biblical story of the suffering and death of Jesus of Nazareth.
Keyboardist Ed Bruenjes and singer and guitarist Dale Sechrest provided music.

“I was glad to see that it was well-attended,” said Kelly Daugherty, executive director of the Ecumenical Assembly.
The service is a longtime tradition, meant in part to build unity among local Christians.
