Board members elected at annual REMC meeting
About 500 members attended the April 16 annual meeting of the Bartholomew County REMC at Columbus North High School’s auditorium.
Incumbents Dr. John Harker, Ron Arnholt and Janet Anthony were re-elected to the board of directors. Elected nominating committee members were Scott Strietelmeier, Jason Schroer and Rachel Flohr-David.
Mickel Flickinger won the $300 grand prize.
REMC reported that 1,304 members voted prior to the meeting with an additional 176 members voting at the meeting.
REMC Chief Executive Officer Jim Turner and board President Curt Burbrink spoke at the annual meeting. Theme for the event was “Local then. Local Now.”
