Investigators from the Columbus Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a local woman who is considered a missing/endangered adult.
Officers are seeking information on the whereabouts of Stephanie A. Hudak, 36, who was last seen at her residence on Tuesday night in the 200 block of South Brooks Street Tuesday night. Hudak is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a dark colored T-shirt and dark colored sweatpants.
Hudak is believed to be in the company of Steven R. Burton, 41, who is 5 feet 2 inches and weighs approximately 170 pounds. They may be traveling in 1990s model Dodge Durango that is red with chrome taillights and black wheels.
Police said Hudak and Burton were in a relationship, and recent threats of violence had been made by Burton against Hudak.
Investigators believe that Hudak went missing sometime overnight from her home and she was reported missing to police Wednesday morning.
