• Mayor Jim Lienhoop for joining Turning Point Domestic Violence Services for Denim Day programming, and presenting a proclamation declaring April “Sexual Assault Awareness Month” and April 24th “Denim Day” in Columbus.

• Bucceto’s Pizza and Pasta for supporting Turning Point Domestic Violence Services during Denim Day 2019.

• Reema at Target CVS for all your help transferring Lucky Dog’s prescription.

• the sheriff’s deputy who was patrolling our road and scared off a suspicious car idling on our property.

• all the people who helped me Wednesday in the Goodwill parking lot when I was locked out of my car, from Fern and Lexie.

• Julie Schuette who is always so willing to help in so many ways for so many people, from Aunt Elsie.

• the plumbers at B&B for getting the job done like champs, even in knee-deep water.

• Graham Rooks for being freshman of the year at IU, and to IU-bound wrestlers.

• Dale Fleetwood, for all the beautiful daffodils we’ve long admired on U.S. 31 and for the hard work in planting them, from Sherry Fisher.

• the letter writer who thinks border issues are petty, when in reality it’s a border crisis negatively affecting all legal American citizens.

• the company that stopped (after many years) sending flowers to employees for Administrative Professionals Day, leaving those employees feeling invisible and unappreciated.

• the president for saying that guns are great, while the Secret Service bans them during his speech at the NRA convention.

• the school district for failing students by keeping verbally abusive and aggressive elementary students in the classroom.

• the school board that allowed public comments about the block schedule, but not letting the comments affect the outcome.

• those who tolerate and enable corruption, deceit and lies from our leaders regardless of political party.

• person warning about screen time but is also responsible for putting Chromebooks in front of early elementary students.

• the president, vice president and governor for speaking at the NRA convention while our children have to learn to protect themselves against the potential of school shootings.

• the modern day pharisee who should read Luke 6:1-11 before casting stones at the minster who mowed his lawn on Easter Sunday.

• those for releasing the Coast Guard lieutenant accused of planning to kill prominent Democrats.

• neighbors on a court on the east side of Columbus who don’t mow their yard.

• the person criticizing the pastor for mowing on Easter Sunday and maybe not knowing the circumstance, commitments or needs of the pastor.
