Marketplace: Purdue Polytechnic promotes engineering professor

Purdue University’s board of trustees approved the promotion of Austin Creasy of Purdue Polytechnic Columbus to assistant professor of mechanical engineering technology.

Creasy joined Purdue Polytechnic Columbus in 2012 as an associate professor of mechanical engineering technology. During his tenure, he has helped to develop the mechanical engineering technology program and has been published in numerous professional and conference publications.

Creasy earned his bachelor of science (2002), master of science (2006) and doctorate (2011) in mechanical engineering at Virginia Tech University.
