• Nadia Lomax for thoughtful, well-written column on the importance of reading “To Kill a Mockingbird.”

• the couple at Fazoli’s on Thursday who took care of my table service and my drink, from the lady with the cane.

• the president for rolling back regulations, enriching big industry CEOs and lobbyists but putting workers’ protections at risk, and to people who don’t understand that all benefit from the ACA’s protections, which could be lost if the law is changed.

• those who use religion as a means to discriminate against others

• the staff that placed a large order for delivery through an online app, then did not tip the driver.

• the state of Indiana for diverting $270 million in tax revenue from state and local schools to Bankers Life Fieldhouse and a new soccer stadium when Indiana teachers aren’t paid as competitively as in other states.
