The Bartholomew County Health Department, 2675 Foxpointe Drive, Suite B, will accept sharps disposal containers May 13 through May 17.
Local residents may bring their used needles to the health department in containers (laundry bottles, coffee cans, etc.) for proper disposal.
Bring a current prescription that requires needle use and you will receive a red sharps container to use, fill and return to the health department for a replacement container.
